The Neurosis of Racism

Growing up in toronto was pretty multicultural, and i didn't like my best friends were just half black. It's made me uncomfortable about who i'm talking to, not based on their skin color, but based on what they think about skin color. That's exactly the kind of neurosis that i'm speaking of. People have developed new neuroses as a result of seeing politics, political demands that cleave the world into good and evil. And hand essentially been asked to pick aside, in a very simplistic caricature of the problem, and made to feel evil if they have any kind of scepticism about so that that, that problem that you describe.
