What's the Name of the Owl?
Otus Biggia is also the name of a local park ranger that every time that we went to the field he came with us. And in the first moment it was him telling Martin Melville about these weird animals that some paratavists saw high in the trees. He monitors a system of automatic recorders that Barbara and her colleagues set up before they left the island. It's these recorders that allow them to capture owl vocalizations, pinpoint where exactly the owls live and even how many individuals there are on the island.
