Choice and Structure Aren't Opposite

Choice and structure aren't opposites, they are compatible. The question I ask is, if I give this animal choice, are they possibly going to make a wrong choice? This is no different than what we do with human children. We give them limited defined choices. It's not in their best interest to be given full choice when they're not in a place to make full choice. When your kid is just woken it up, it's already grumpy. That's not the time for it. You have two choices. Do you want special care? Do you want to hear? Boom, that's it.
