Many people who start meditation say, I can't do this because my mind is out of control. That's a good sign - it means you're noticing how much the mind wanders ordinarily. We would encourage people to choose a length of time that they actually can make a firm commitment to. And then if it's beneficial after that month, continue and slowly increase.
