Is Tail Scale a Better VPN Solution?

Some people picture a VPN where all of my traffic is going to get routed to some central point, it's going to go connect to the thing for me and then send the result back. In contrast, tail scale does a more peer to peer thing. Everyone can send traffic directly to each other. And you don't have to worry about your single point of failure in your cluster because there was just no single points of failure. This creates a kind of seamless magic type experience with everyone on equal footing.
