"I just write an idea and I thought, you know, it's just when I would go there, I would find a way to make a film," he says. "In the right criticism, there was always attack to the attack." He went in with Eritrean guerrillas during freedom fighting but had backing of TV company. The director chose DUP because he liked their work; they were all Christians at the time.
