The Information Environment: A Systematic Approach
The idea of information ecology and specifically this idea that we should think of information spaces as ecosystems. We have disturbances in the information environment, right? Where a single idea gets pushed out by one side to try to flood that information environment so that people all buy it. I think that there are ways to study the ecosystem such that we can measure conditions and whether they fluctuate or not. And if we can get to that kind of systemic understanding, perhaps there's a possibility one for us to understand how disturbances change an ecosystem.
