What Is Equity Multiple Promote?

I think my first deal was something crazy. It was 50% over a 1x, which is obviously in insane terms for me. I actually never even took the promote. I just gave it all back to investors for good will. But the deal ended up pretty well. I mean, it was bought for 200, sold for like 275 a year later. So on the on the multi side, it's like pretty much covered. Me and my business part, we can look at a deal within five seconds and know if it's a home run or not. We almost don't even need to do anything idea generation wise there.
