All the Broadway people were like ancillary friends of one another. It's a small community. We never actually stopped and got to know one. Scott Ellis insisted that there was a sunken hot tub in the center of the stage so that Tom Sawyer could pop out of it at the beginning. Josh Park who played Tom Sawyer, who has since died, did you know that? He was such an effervescent person.
