The Theological Doctrine of Justification
Luther thought that the Catholics were in great theological error with respect to this doctrine. The New Testament is pretty clear that that requires our cooperation and at least a little bit of effort on our part. So it's not just a passive sort of enterprise you have to do something. Sometimes that's called sanctification trying to become a whole way or try to become a better person.
