The Power of Filial Fear
Filial fear is really just another way to, to kind of talk about love, uh, the beloved, not to offend the beloved. Anybody who's, you know, wants to go out with someone there, that's a major kind of fear, right? Because of love, and that's the same thing with, with Aquinas. He would say that something like servile fear, which is fear of punishment, is useful in so far as it actually dissuades a person from doing something evil. That it's not a perfect kind of a fear. It's not theFear that leads to, um, that leads to love. So yeah.
