The Role of Beta Blockers in Cardiogenic Shock

Miller known is tough because it's a six-hour drug. It does not titrate off as easily as a dopamine or epi. Many of these patients who are early in their cardiogenic shock have renal dysfunction. The only time that I would probably start miller known is if I had a patient who was on home inotrope and they had recently weaned him off.
