The Importance of Fiscal Drag in the Economy
Fiscal drag means millions more are paying higher rate tax. Even though the economy is flat, it's actually generating more tax revenue than you would think. Former chair of NHS Pay Review Body says there will be prolonged strikes if government ignores what we recommend in current cost of living crisis. Unite Union General Secretary Sharon Graham not particularly happy about this and suggested there's going to be more strikes.
