The author was inspired by early data or French letterism experiments. The presence of the letter on the page really becomes a thing that is open to all sorts of artistic negotiations, he says. He also has a background in political science and economics from university times. There are economies that are implemented through letters, but there are also economies that come to play within letters themselves.
