Is the Ode to Ultimatan Prophets Relevant to Western Culture?
In icons of the harrowing of hades, saints at christ's right hand, usually saint john, are depicted with haloes. The saints on his left, abel and various patriarchs, are without haloes. Why is this some right left hand symbolism? So whyise john on the right hand of christ instead of his usual left?
