The idea of justice calls to mind something bigger as well. I'm being denied what is due to me, not by some other individual person's private bad act,. But by a failure of the rules or failure to respect the rules of the overall political regime. And so the idea of justice from Plato and Aristotle onward can end up being bigger than that too.
