I'm probably best known for is that arbitrage and human nature is the last sustainable edge. The fact that I never overrode a model was pretty cool. As far as the timing factor, you're probably smarter than we are because we haven't approached it from machine learning sense. Poor momentum is a great identifier of stocks to avoid. We found that momentum inverted after the market bottom.
