The Importance of Mary Magdalene in the Gospels

The reason I think that's an interesting argument for Jesus not being married is because most of his ministry is meant to show what the Kingdom is going to be like. And if one of the ideals of the Kingdom is not to be married, then it would sound like Jesus would probably not want to be married now. Even in early Christianity, this was seen as highly significant. The disciples of Jesus after his death came to see Jesus in the Gospels and then they sort of shift from being disciples of Jesus to being apostles of Jesus. So these two different terms mean something different.
