How to Measure the Quality of an Individual Student
Juris: What should count as merit? As freddie said, right? And we do agree on a lot of things, right? A, these schools, particularly at the top, like harvard mey, get thousands, thousands of applicants othere's they have like a four %, three and a half% at mit rate. So what counts as merit? You know, the universities claim that their mission statement, in their mission statements, that they are trying to cultivate future leaders who advance human knowledge and give back. An essay t score is not particularly indicated of that. It predicts only a roughly how they will do in their first year, and not much else.
