The Importance of Storytelling

Everything that I do has to have a story around it. And you're taking somebody on a journey with you so that they understand, well, let's go backwards to understand why you came to talk to me and then you got a skyrocket forward to fear it where you want to get to. So what I noticed early on was a lot of sales people wanted to rely on the same five to 10 power point slides and talk to the slide. They are there just to read what it is and not put the story together because in order to put a story together. It's uncomfortable because you need to go and break down barriers and talk to people that are hard toget to.
