The Obedience of Faith

Paul thanks God for persons who have become obedient believers. He says, because your faith has become the kind of faith that is known everywhere. Nobody but God can see the act of faith. So how did this reputation get out there? How did people know that they were this kind of believer? And surely the answer is given in verse five. The obedience of faith is what had happened. When faith is strong and faith is real and faith is vital, James says it works. Faith without works is dead faith. We exist to spread a passion for the supremacy of God.
