Learning the Lessons From History
The British Parliament voted against military action in Iraq. And you can argue exactly that that was a result of learning the lesson of the last time they'd done military act. Well, both in Iraq and actually subsequently in Libya, it clearly doesn't work. We mustn't make those mistakes again. So you then get this sort of flip over of no action. Then we're working through the next phase of that cycle where we're now learning that you can't stop a war just by being nice to people.
