The Correlation Between Self Esteem and Right Wing Ideolgy

Self esteem and integrative complexity are negatively correlated with right wing ideolgy. The strongest correlation of any psychological variable the researches could find, including having more predictive power than openness to experience, was personal fear of death. But then, none of the remaining five has anything like the same level of inevitable, logical relationship with either attitudes towards change or attitudes towards an equality or really with each other. And for that reason a lot of papers and political psychology just kind of avoid it, or a sort of dance around it.
