There's studies about screen time with little kids rewiring your brain. I have a three year old and he loves Thomas the Tank Engine. We try to regulate his screen time. And between the two, we'd rather him listen to the podcast than the television show. My daughter's a little older, but I've been reading Harry Potter books to her. She spends the first half having to imagine it. But during the second half, she has those crutches. So I'm trying to develop in her as this capacity to take what she's seen somewhere else and bring it into the book.
