In 1972, Mickey was still stringing Linda along about going to New Zealand. Don came from a very wealthy family in Palisades. His dad owned most of Santa Monica and Montana Boulevard where all the boutiques are. In Linda, the pirate captain saw an opportunity to mess with the cat.
