The Importance of Giving Money to Your Kids
The current rule is, well, you have to wait till you die and then all of your kids and your descendants get all of your wealth that you've created. He's like, that's actually really selfish. Most people at the age of their inheritance, they're about 60 years old. They don't really need the money then. When could they have used that money? And their late 20s and early 30s. So his perspective is you should be giving money to your kids and giving money to charities much earlier while you're still alive. This has changed a lot about how we think about investing in our children.
