The S-P-1200 and the 2400
The S-P1200 and the 2400 have been sampled to create an all sort of bossa beat. Here's a full beat made with the complement of Aestone sounds which I sampled into both machines. The only thing that stands out is the way that kick drum decays on the 1200. But really let's be honest there's not a lot in it right? So yeah he thought let's carry on and do the same beat essentially but with all the sounds pitched to the lowest point so you just get that extra contrast that makes the S-P so distinctive.
