"I was definitely like moving more into like I'm a good writer and I can I can write well," he says. "As I like stepped away from like at university I'd be doing very big gigs and performed very large crowds." But the weekly would run across festival season and 'I could not do both' so he stopped putting on a show every year to focus on the writing side of things. He took a year off but then shows were always running over that period for eight years. So technically what you've just revealed is that I am partly responsible for the death of your stand up career.
