The Importance of Analogies in End Arterectomy
You can narrow a canal by 50% and still have lots of room for the cord. I think there are some analogies where the thing you're trying to explain is just easier to explain directly than to come up with a complicated analogy. The problem with analogies is then they're almost never perfect, so in that transfer, you sometimes end up transferring incorrect intuitions.
