Elixir 1.8 - What's the Biggest Change?
For 1.8, I think there were like two main callouts on the Elixir. And one was the driving for the inspect protocol. In Elixir, we have a feature called protocols. When you define a protocol is your way of saying, hey, you can give me any data structure as long as this data structure implements this protocol. So it's a very useful extensibility mechanism. It's an open accessibility mechanism. We also got mixed test dash dash failed mixed test dashDash cover now includes a summary,. You know, cut cover being coverage. The logger and the system trace, those are very core, very central pieces. They're all happening along with the integration with Erlang
