The Resurrection of Jesus in the New World
The resurrection of Jesus is the characteristic and prototypical event within the new world which is coming to birth. It isn't something you can fit into a rationalist modernist world view or indeed into an ancient platonic world view just as much of a scandal intellectually in the first century as it is in the 21st century. When you put the resurrection in the middle of your world view even though it's a costly and dangerous thing to do you discover to revert to my illustration that all the finest features of the building that were there before get back again only now enhanced.
