Caesar arrived outside the theatre of pompey, one of the key centres of ancient rome. As soon as he stepped out of his litter, he became the object of great attention. A certain senator approached him and revealed that he knew of their plots. But lena himself was not one of the conspirators. The senate house had recently burned down during a riot following the murder of Clodius.
