The Heart of Christian Faith
Jesus of Nazareth was a first century Palestinian Jew who died on a cross and rose again. We know that just as much as we know the death of Julius Caesar 50 years earlier or the fall of Jerusalem 40 years after Jesus time. As we learn to delight in him so our faith becomes that flexible robust thing with which we reach out and grasp the reality of who God is.
