Anthony Bourdain: I think the bottom line for me is that it's a beautiful paper on the emergence of organized interest in among populations that are really really underprivileged. There's still a bunch of unanswered questions you come away with this saying okay that's one little part which is understanding what the preferences of the residents are. Now I want to know how do these people actually get selected and what do they actually do and how does that work. So I find this to be engaging and intriguing but also leave me with lots of more questions about how this actually works in practice.
