When I started running Linux I started doing a little playing around with writing little scripts in Pearl. Throughout my co-op positions like I did some of thesys admin ones and those ended up being like writing stuff in Pearl. When I got the email from my brother's friend in Amsterdam he said by the way it's in Pearl and I'm like you've got to be kidding me It was the language I could not get away from but I took it because it was an adventure in Amsterdam right there.
