The Importance of Race in South Africa
Race as a distinguishing quality of people is a very convenient way to provide europeans in th eting the belief that they understand what people are all about. At the time, if black people capitulated to european aggression, they would take that as a sign that they were inferior to europeans. And now she considers specifically the role of dutch imperialism in south africa with the boers, and how that contributed to these logics of imperialism.
