The Revolt of Santa Fe

There's not a huge Spanish force on the ground. That is concentrated in and around Santa Fe. The Spaniards make a couple of initial forays like trying to break their way out. And eventually they negotiate a very short truce that allows the Spaniards to leave Santa Fe and march down the Rio Grande. Eventually they set up a colonial capital in exile in modern day Juarez, Mexico.
