Are Emotions That Cause Anxiety?
Worry actually prevents us from focusing on what needs to be dealt with. When we finally quiet the mind, the emotions may begin to bubble up. And so these emotions that cause anxious feelings, they do need to be acknowledged. They need to be felt. We just want to distract or push down or numb ourselves so that we stay distracted with worries.
