The notion that a child having their face covered, you know, pretty much for six, seven hours a day is so wildly divorced from any sort of like reasonable notion of what it means to be a person. I want to look back and it seems like at this point we should have more wisdom and more hindsight but there are things getting in our way. And one of the biggest problems to me was the degree of certainty within which many of these pronouncements were made,. It did not allow for any room for things to change which they did.
