The Pantasy Component of Preper Fiction
The women presume that civilization is not entirely artificial. There will still be the need for child care and community, like if you actually want to maximize your chances of survival. According to one preper fiction book i read, really it was a whole tribal phantasy. It's not what two x prepers are talking about. I think they're more talking about how to help in your neighborhood with the people that you are around.
