There was an ethos in my subgenre of hip-hop where if you weren't sampling from vinyl you were cheating right so you had to have and it like preferably the original press. Well I mean that's the true score of finding something to sample and it's some old 70s band with that nobody knows about it. Yeah that preferably. Preferably yeah I mean other than you know rights and everything but I'm saying also to make it so original because there's a time when artists who get off on sampling stuff that's familiar gets off on oh they're already familiar with this let me freak it a different way. But we listen to him now and I can't shake the feeling
