Separation of Helium and Tritium
In terms of the fuel itself though, one thing that I don't really understand about how a reactor would work is so you have, I guess, so it runs off deuterium and tritium. So then you've got helium mixed in in the same chamber as your tritium and deuterium. So there will need to be a separation process. And these are possible because they are so different. You have chemical differences and physical differences in them that this kind of separation will be possible. We don't even have a single gram of fuel inside of a big fusion device at any given time.
