Is Your Short Story Too Fucking Funny?

I've been leaning into humor a lot more in my stories. Just because something is serious doesn't mean it needs to be solemn. If your short story is too fucking funny, unfortunately it's referred to as comedy and comedy is a bad word. I find the people who make that critique care more about what the art they consume, says about them.
