How Do Generative Image Models Really Work?

In January of last year, chat GBT released their version four model. It's one of the best models I've seen so far and another will be out in a few weeks. And they did an art project with it actually. Right? So essentially, they get the model to like output lots of stuff. And then they pay people to go through and be like, good, bad, good,bad, good,Bad. And then the model reacts to those scores. That means that it's going to be more likely to output the kind of images that the humans have really good.
