The Chains and Fire, and the Rumble, the Rumble, and All Sorts of Tricky Things That Sound

Much of the movie though, as you point out, is sink dependent, which is an editorial trick. The chains weren't one of those things that could be natural. They were part of the fight, but they weren't even the main part of thefight. I mean, after that scene, and the story of west side story, everything is radically different. It it's a great sound moment for us, because we got to help tell the stories.
