Is Hot Water Immersion Better Than Cold Water?
Ben Greenfield: As the weather starts to dip, I tend to be more prone after my garage workouts to hop into the hot tub versus the chili, chili, willy cold pool. There was a study that came out about this. It seems as though hot water could help out a little bit also for something like blood flow and removal of some of the metabolites that would normally make you sore. If you don't have access to a cold pool and you need some kind of recovery session, the hot water can be a pretty good option.
