The Relationship Between Bees and Flowers
Bees and flowers are tied by things that are not quite visible to us. One part of it doesn't exist without the other part. And so you can't say inst which came the first bee or flower, is like which comes the first egg or hen - they arise mutually. This phrase in chinese means mutual or reciprocal. It's originally an image of a growing plant of some kind. So the world is seen as a system in which all the pairs of opposites and all such symbliotic group relationships emerge mutually.
