Pediatric Appendicitis in Children and Adolescents

The peak incidence of appendicitis in children is between ages 10 to 19 years. Custom and prefabricated foot arthoses resulted in little to no reduction in the proportion of children reporting pain. The current guidelines for the American Academy of Family Physicians suggest that painless childhood flat feet should be monitored without intervention.
