What Was the Biggest Lesson Up Until You Got Sentenced?
"I was thinking in the beginning, well, surely something's going to happen. I can't believe it's going to be that bad," she says. "The whole time I was waiting, I just checked out. Honestly, I didn't show up to a lot of classes." The first week in prison is when they send you to the county jail for about two weeks. When you're in the county jail, you've got maybe there's 10 people in a cell with bunk beds. It's so bad.
