The Case for a Softish Landing in Inflation
The Fed's interest rate hikes have caused bank runs and problems with banks. Is there a case to be made that unemployment could still be suddenly tight and inflation will just roll off over time? I don't know, certainly, inflation can rise and fall a lot without a major problem. All that really has to happen is that people have to believe that it's temporary.
